In the morning I looked to see if there was anything interesting in Bari beyond the train station, and there wasn’t. So I bought a train ticket to Monopoli, which is only 32 minutes away.
Cute little town, easy to get around. The part of the old town differs from that of Bari in that the houses are whitewashed. Since you can’t take photos in sunglasses, it wasn’t so pleasant…
